Mountain Ash Golf Club, nestles on top of Cefnpennar mountain with breathtaking views to the north as far as the Brecon Beacons and stunning views of the surrounding Cynon Valley. The Course has changed little since its inception in 1908, and although not long, measuring 5553 yards it provides a stern but enjoyable test of golf. As you would imagine being a heathland mountain course the elements can influence more than just the club selection. The welcome is always warm, the clubhouse inviting and the hospitality excellent. However, the real beauty of Mountain Ash lies in it's location and setting. The mountains of the South Wales Valleys and Brecon Beacons provide a spectacular panorama and it's remoteness allows you to forget about the pace of modern life for a few hours. There is no doubt that Mountain Ash is a place of great beauty and tranquillity and a golfing experience not to be missed. The club house boasts a recently built 150 seat function hall suitable for every event, weddings, birthdays, christenings etc. The golfers bar is comfortable and welcoming with a unique friendly atmosphere. Home cooked cuisine is always available in the golfers' bar.
