Directions

From the south ,you will need to leave the M4 at junction 32 on the A470, follow the A470 for 18miles and leave at the exit marked Abercynon, take the first exit off this round about the A4059. You are now 4 miles from Mountain Ash. Follow the A4059 until you enter Mountain Ash. See Map two.

From the North, both the A470 and the A465(Heads of the Valleys) will get you to the Hirwaun roundabout where you can access the A4059, you will need to followthis road through 7 roundabouts heading toward Mountain Ash.

Once you get to Mountain Ash head for Cefnpennar land marks to watch for,

  • The Bowls club, this is the junction you will need to take from Mountain Ash to Cefnpennar,
  • The Cenotaf, your on the write track dont turn left carry on up the hill to the small bridge.
  • The hill steepens,take the3rd turn into the club car park.
