But located on the north-west slopes of the Valley above Mountain Ash, this challenging, 18-hole course is anything but quaint.
A relatively short course (5553 yards) it’s steep, intricate dog legs and rolling greens ensure that you must be on top form to successfully navigate this tricky challenge.
The views from the course are breathtaking, looking down the valley towards Aberaman and North towards the Brecon Beacons.
With a fairly close-knit group of golfers in this charming valleys hamlet, there is a great sense of community, and we are always looking for visitors and new members to come along and take on the challenge of Mountain Ash Golf Club.
And once you’ve rolled in your final putt, there is a bustling bar and restaurant for you to enjoy a pint or two of our local ales and a bite to eat.
